Mouse House April 3, 2015

These are castor bean seeds that were carried to this mouse's house in this hollow log and sprouted.  I know a mouse used to live here because the dogs are always sniffing and scratching around this log.  I write "used to live here" because if that little mouse took a bite of one of those seeds then he is a goner.  Castor bean seeds and all other parts of the plant are poisonous.
