Another Look at Fireworks Gomphrena October 7, 2012

This plants is an amazing bloomer.  It is covered in blooms from summer until fall, and it looks just like this the entire time.  It never stops blooming hundreds of long-lasting blooms ever day.  Each of the spikes on this bristly flower are seeds.  I collected seeds from last year's plants and spread them in many beds this spring.

See the little golden tips on the flower?  That is why it is called Fireworks.  Super cute!
