Ox Eye Daisies April 26, 2014
The daisies were wonderful this weekend. I love them so much. They are one of my favorite flowers. I have them growing everywhere - in the Vegetable Garden, the Star Garden, the Orchard, and the Rose Garden. Whenever I see a seedling growing up through the gravel I dig it up and move it to a flowerbed. Great plants, they do not go dormant in the winter. They remain green and healthy-looking. And they tolerate partial shade very well, in fact the hot sun of summer is a bit hard on them.

This rose was so impressive this weekend. It won't bloom again until fall, and the fall flush is not as pretty as the spring flush. Ballerina is one of my favorites.
