When I bought two of these I thought I was buying more Acanthus mollis (Bear's Breeches). I saw the small pots (read cheaper) and bought them to plant in my Shade Garden. It was only after I removed them from the pots to begin planting them that I noticed they are actually called Grecian Pattern Plant - another Acanthus, but not Bear's Breeches. That's fine, more variety. These also get quite big and throw up a spike of lavender blooms. I'm looking forward to adding some additional interest in the Shade Garden, and I love big-leaved plants (as I have written many times).
