Columbine April 13, 2013

In the photo above I am growing Hinckley Columbine, a Texas native, and McKenna's Giant.  They get much taller and bloom a bit later than the dark purple variety I have growing nearby.  I grew the McKenna's Giant from seed.

The red variety above has never impressed me very much/  Not very showy.

Hinckley Columbine in the Infinity Garden.  Columbine was once considered a healing herb, so I have included it in my medicine garden.
