Oakleaf Hydrangea May 3, 2020

My oakleaf hydrangeas looked very pretty this morning, and they smelled so good.  Very spicy scent.  I haven't fertilized or mulched these plants for many years, and yet they look healthy and beautiful.  Whenever I see small ones in the nurseries I snap them up.  They grow quickly, why buy large ones?
