Spiderwort April 6, 2019

The spiderwort is blooming, both the low-growing native spiderwort and the domesticated varieties.  The Meadow is dotted with the blue of the native spiderwort.  The ones growing in my gardens came from the old house on Nixon Lake Road.  And it has popped up everywhere since then.  Very pretty, and who can resist that beautiful true-blue color (although it looks purple in these photos)?
