Black and Blue Sage May 1, 2016

Another example of a plant having a particularly stunning display this year is my Black and Blue Sage.  It was really gorgeous last weekend, but I didn't get over there to take a picture.  This is a fine perennial, but you should have other perennials around it to take over because it only blooms in the spring, at least for me, then it is gone.  It is such a wonderful bue color that it is worth growing.
