Giant Rudbeckia May 1, 2016

Rudbeckia Maxima is one of my favorite plants.  The foliage is blue gray, and it is evergreen.  It throws up these wonderful flowers in the spring.  And it reseeds freely.

 Rudbeckia Maxima is very tall and is visible above all the plants around it.  In the above photograph you can see the flowers above pink autumn sage, Tickseed, Hummingbird Bush, and Ox Eye Daisies.
