Daffodils February 12, 2017

I will have to go back two years in my blog to remember what daffodils these are.  They are blooming in the Rose Edge Garden along with wildflowers that I seeded in the fall.  They are sweet little things.

 

Most of the year this bed has nothing in it, it's covered with leaves.  Then in the winter these bulbs spring up and bloom for a few weeks, then the greenery dies back and it's back to nothing but a layer of leaves.  But this winter I raked out two rows and seeded them with wildflower seeds that will bloom in the spring.
