Progress on My Daffodil Border February 12, 2017

The daffodils are just beginning to form buds, and a few are blooming.  The greenery that is visible is a row of Campernelles and a row of Double Campernelles.  The 500 daffodil bulbs I planted a month or so ago are only just peeking out of the ground.

 

The pictures above and below are double Campernelles.  A gardener of some note (whose name escapes me right now) wrote that she didn't like double flowers of any kind.  She said they just looked "messed up".  These daffodils definitely are not classic-looking by any means.
