Clyde Redmond Iris March 19, 2020

I look forward to these iris every year.  So much more reliable than the bearded iris!

 Every once in while I get these really deep purple ones rather than the typical blue.  Either it is an anomaly or another variety got mixed in with my Clyde Redmonds when I bought them 10 years ago.  If you are a newcomer to iris, this is the one to buy.  That's the advice I got from a lady when I bought mine, and she wasn't wrong!  They are excellent bloomers and excellent multipliers.
