Hycinth Bean Over the Front Gate Sept 6, 2014

Hyacinth Bean vine is grown from seed.  These seeds were collected from my vines I grew last year.  The bloom are over a foot long.  Very pretty.  After the blooms fade they are replaced by bright purple seed pods.  Not edible, but very decorative.
