You can always count on zinnias for color in the dog days of summer, but I think cannas should get their due also. In the pictures below it is a sea of green punctuated by the bright yellow and orange of cannas. I love their tropical foliage and bright, large flowers. My salvias are also doing a good job of hanging on.
