This is Fireworks Pennisetum. It looks similar to Purple Fountain Grass which is a bit disappointing to me. When it was very small it had much more a magenta color to it. Now that it is more mature it is not as distinctive.

This is Adagio Grass. I like this grass. The flower plumes are very pretty.

The flower plumes of grasses glow in the sunshine. Many grasses turn red or golden in the fall. They create a lot of interest in the garden. I just love them.
